No. . . The AI in this game only item cheats. MK64 isï»¿ where they cheat in speed. You can hit them with as many items as you want but they’ll ALWAYS be right next to you waiting to pass you. Even if you boost ahead, they go faster. . .

I have only played MK64, Double Dash, and Wii, but I can tell you from experience that the AI has cheated back then, as well. They speed past you in MK64 no matter where they are or how many times you attack. Also, the blue shell wasï»¿ not NEARLY as powerful and annoying as it is in Double Dash and Wii. Why should multiple players get blown up along with the person in first place? That’s not fair! One more thing, the tracks are well designed, but the graphics are EXACTLY the same as the GC.
